Combined Federal Campaign

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the only authorized solicitation of Federal employees in their workplaces on behalf of approved charitable organizations. The CFC began in the early 1960’s to coordinate the fundraising efforts of various charitable organizations so that the Federal donor would only be solicited once in the workplace and have the opportunity to make charitable contributions through payroll deduction. Federal employees continue to make the CFC the largest and most successful workplace philanthropic fundraiser in the world.

CFC of Northern ShenandoahValley

The CFC of Northern Shenandoah Valley is comprised of the local federal employees in the City of Winchester, City of Harrisonburg, Frederick, Clarke, Page, Shenandoah, Warren and Rockingham Counties.  The Chairman of the CFC is Colonel Vincent Quarles with the US Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District, headquartered in Winchester.  Federal employees have a tremendous opportunity to make a real difference and bring assistance to those in need.  CFC makes giving simple, whether you make a one-time donation or choose a payroll deduction to spread your contribution throughout the pay year.  The CFC campaign runs from September 1st to December 15th.  You can make a big difference for our extended family locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
