2020 Housing Summit

 

This is notification that the Housing Summit, scheduled for Friday, March 13th, 2020 at Shenandoah University will be POSTPONED until further notice. We have remained on high alert and in close contact with local, state and federal agencies and their recommendations regarding concerns over COVID-19.

 

We were notified Wednesday evening that “Shenandoah University will cancel or postpone all large event gatherings (100+ people), and many smaller events, on campus effective immediately until Monday, March 30”.

 

We will be in contact when we have more details on when the Housing Summit might be rescheduled for. We encourage everyone to continue to take appropriate precautions in accordance with CDC guidelines in order to protect themselves and other from the spread of COVID-19.

Join us for the second annual Housing Summit hosted by The Housing Coalition of the Northern Shenandoah Valley, United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity. The inaugural Housing Summit in 2019 brought together over 150 leaders from all facets of the sector including government leaders, developers, realtors, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, civic groups, policy experts and school systems. 
 
We hope you will join us for the 2020 Housing Summit which will feature the housing industry's best and brightest minds, all at one event, delivering the knowledge, tools, programs and connections necessary for leaders to shape their future success and the future of our community. Stay tuned for more details and for a list of presenters and panelists. 
 
Government leaders, developers, realtors, faith-based organization, nonprofits, civic groups, policy experts, school systems, EDA's and the community are all invited to attend. The more diverse representation of our community, the better the discussion and possible solutions. 
 
There is no cost to attend the Housing Summit, however all participants MUST REGISTER. Please fill out the registration form below.
