Though our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, they are also the population most likely to be affected by poor living conditions. Come together with other SEL members for our second Women’s Build event and take a proactive step in serving your community!
The Women's Build opportunity is available to any SEL member who wants to learn how to build and construct a home. No experience is necessary. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and also alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved, and improves the community that you share.
Women helping women sends a positive and powerful message. Feel free to come alone, but know that you will be leaving with several new friends.
Registration is required and space is limited.
