Day of Caring is a powerful, one-day volunteer event that brings together over 900 community members to complete hands-on projects that directly benefit nonprofits & organizations across the Northern Shenandoah Valley.

From landscaping and painting to organizing donations and cleaning, volunteers help nonprofits complete tasks they might otherwise have to pay for—allowing them to focus their limited resources on their mission.

Please note: Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee a Day of Caring project match for every team. If a match isn't available, United Way will work with you to find another meaningful volunteer opportunity.
