Resource Roundtable to Focus on Evictions

January 29, 2021 (Winchester, VA) - The Housing Coalition of the Northern Shenandoah Valley is hosting a series or virtual Resource Roundtables to educate service providers and the community about local and state resources in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Evictions will be the focus of the next roundtable, scheduled for Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 from 10:30 AM – Noon.

Representatives from Blue Ridge Legal Services will provide an overview of new laws that protect renters, as well as new requirements for landlords to evict tenants. Representatives from Housing Virginia will present on resources to help both tenants who need financial assistance, as well as landlords. A question and answer session will follow, along with an opportunity for other nonprofits or state and local agencies to share resources that may be helpful to families.
