United Way invites our community partners and sponsoring companies/individuals to volunteer with Project Connect! By volunteering as a group, you are able to spend time together outside of the office, work together as a team, and make a real impact in the community where you live and work!
At Project Connect, an individual experiencing homelessness or who is looking for resources is able to receive assistance from providers under the same roof in a “one stop shop” model. Many of the services provided could not otherwise be accessed by a person in one day or possibly at all.
To register as a volunteer, simply share our this volunteer link with your group! Everyone is required to sign up in advance for the event, we do not allow walk-ins for safety reasons. We will contact registered individuals to confirm details as we get closer to the event. If you would like to reserve a specific service area for your group, you can sponsor the area!
We could not host these events if not for our sponsoring groups. Benefits of sponsorships include the ability to keep your group together in the same service area, brand awareness and marketing, social media shout-outs, and much more. Project Connect will be taking place on January 23rd, 2020. The event will be opening at 8:00am and closing at 2:00pm. United Way will contact you with your assigned shift and duties.
