Largest Volunteer Event Ever for Day of Caring 2018

More than 1,200 volunteers came together on September 12th and 13th to #LiveUnited for our Day of Caring!

Volunteers worked on more than 140 projects, doing everything from painting, to landscaping. Friendships were made and community was built, all by friends and neighbors who were willing to go the extra mile to show that the Northern Shenandoah Valley is a community that takes care of each other.

Our teams were able to complete projects in Winchester City, Frederick, Clarke, Page and Shenandoah Counties! Eighty-four local teams (a 25 team increase from last year) registered, comprised of local businesses, social clubs and groups of friends! People of all kinds, backgrounds and ages were able to come together, to truly make an impact on our valley!

Thank you to all of the participants, job sites, and sponsors who have made Day of Caring possible. None of this could happen without our outstanding, and supportive community!
