Recap of Day of Caring 2016

United Way NSV wants to thank our community for taking part in our largest Day of Caring ever, with 935 total volunteers and 103 projects! Because of all of the amazing volunteers that gave up their time, we were able to accomplish an amazing amount of work for local non-profits in Winchester City, Frederick, Clarke and Shenandoah Counties, valued at more than $172,040 given back to the community!

It all started at our Day of Caring Kickoff at Lord Fairfax Community College! Our volunteers were cheered on by Redskin Cheerleaders, and DJ Casey got the group moving!
